China Bridge

This week I decided that I wanted to just meditate and think about life and just inhale and exhale. I found this cool bridge… The Chinese Bridge is located in the old Cutler Road and is used to cross over Cutler Creek. The colors of the bridge is red, yellow and blue which are traditional Chinese colors. On the opposite side of Deering Estate (and if you don't know what that is then go back to my last post) I noticed a path and so I got curious to what is over there. I walked for a long time and it felt like forever until I saw bright colors in the distance and me being me made me wanted to know what is… that. I came to discover a bridge that was covered in the traditional colors of China and I thought it was really cute; It wasn't to small nor to big. This bridge was built by Mr.Deering and he restored the bridge in 2002. I noticed that no one really goes down this path and I think it is because they probably lost hope half way down the trail that something cool was there. The trail to the Chinese Bridge was pretty. There were butterflies of different sizes and colors and I noticed some exotic flowers poking out of some bushes. In all it is relaxing because no one is around and you can just think. So I think if you ever just want to take a walk and just think and get yourself together just come to the Chinese bridge and watch the little fish swim pass you

Deering estate

Deering estate is a beautiful place to go to. I go there sometimes with my family to go fishing. Then there is sometimes I go alone to have "quiet time" or "me time". I like to sit there and watch the birds swoop down and swallow the fish that they catch.
There is a small starbucks nearby so I usually go there and walk to deering estate alone and just sip on my coffee as I look onto the horizon. You meet the most interesting people there. I remember I met this old lady who would sit on the bench and smoke her cigarettes and talk about how wild she was when she was my age. Then the other day I met this man who plays the guitar and would tell me his adventures on the road.
Deering estate is a place to sit down, put away the phones and socialize. Right next to deering estate is this little cabin. I've never gone inside of it but I have looked around it, to say the less it's all very quite. Right next to the cabin are wooden gates that lead to this club for people who own yachts and it is all very fancy if I do say so myself. I've never been fond of luxury items, instead I like things or places that are simple.
I recommend deering estate for when you just want to sit down and think about life. Just sit down on the wooden bench and smell the salty air and look at the horizon. The most simple things are to be cherished.

Wynwood Art Walk

The second Saturday of every month there is a spectacular event held in Wynwood. This event will be held from 6 p.m-10 p.m. The Wynwood art walk is a beautiful place to explore; there is live music, which were fun in my opinion. Artists get the chance to show there art work to the public in this event and so they are full of joy and are also excited to show others their masterpiece.  There are many food trucks huddled at one area therefore, is would be easier for people to choose which food truck they would like to eat from. There will be feature openings at the amazing art galleries, art institutions and retail businesses.
There is also live painting. While I was there I observed a man painting a house with hidden messages and I thought it was cool because I can not be as creative as that. I got to talk to the artists about their art works and they explained their art pieces to me. The people at these events are really nice! When I was walking around the food trucks a young man came up to me and placed a flower crown on my head that he had made and told me I looked very pretty with it. I also webt into a little tent and they gave me a book and they told me that they did tattoos and that the book held there cool designs. I had a wonderful time with wonderful people.
I was walking back to my car and I was looking around and I saw something written on the floor. I inched foward and I saw the words "Will you marry me?" And I thought that was so cute. And  then I started to keep on looking around and I noticed there were more and more writing on the floor, like little messages to people. There was also an owl made out of tires wrapped around a pole and I thought it was cool how people can make such odd but awesome creations.

Cauley Square Pictures

Cauley Square Historic Village

Cauley Square Historic Village is located on 22400 Old Dixie Hwy, Miami, FL 33170 and is a nice, not to big but not to small place to hang out at. Cauley Square Historic Village is an amazing place to just sit down on the freshly cut grass and read for a long time till it starts to become dark. When I would sit down and read I would hear raccoons jump from branch to branch in the trees.  They aren't harmful, but do not feed them.  This village has many quaint little boutique shops everywhere and it feels like you are going back in time. If you were to come to Cauley Sqaure Historic Village at night you would see all the trees covered in tiny white lights which looks magical. If you would like to know more about Cauley Square Historic Village you can look at their website http://cauleysquare.com   I discovered this area when I was strolling around my neighborhood and I noticed something in the distance. So now, I go to this village whenever I am want to be alone. I usually go on saturdays and I most likely would always buy a smoothie at there smoothie shop and then sit on the grass and count how many tiny lights there are in the tree. Sometimes if i'm lucky they would have horse carriage rides and I would go around the village in it and just wave at the people and raccoons. Above are some pictures I took while I was there.

Introduction

Jason is a friend of mine who inspired me to explore the world. He would record all his adventures across America and would share them and I wanted to do the same because it looked like fun. He told me that this world is incredible but that I would have to force myself out of my shell; ever since he said that I have been taking the time and energy to explore places near me. This blog will be about me exploring places here in Florida that is downright astonishing. The places I will be exploring are either abandoned or ancient.
